Description
I’ve had this Canon Ixus 95IS for a few years now and it’s actually been a pretty solid camera for my needs. It’s a 10MP model with 3x optical zoom and image stabilizer, so it handles movement pretty well — especially useful when taking photos in low light or on the go. The 2.5” LCD screen is decent, and the smart auto mode makes it easy to get good shots without fiddling with settings.I used it a lot for family stuff, travel shots, and some outdoor stuff — the face detection and red-eye correction really helped with portraits. It’s not super high-end, but it’s reliable and gives decent results. The 30fps VGA movie mode is handy if you want to capture quick clips.
I’m moving to Aberaeron, Ceredigion, and just wanted to get rid of it. It’s been in great shape, mostly used for casual shooting. I’ve only ever used it with a Canon EF-S sensor, so it’s all set up and ready to go. Files are saved in JPEG and MP4.
It’s just £135 now — I’m not selling it for a lot, but it’s still in good working order and would be useful for someone who wants a simple, easy-to-use camera.
