Volkswagen Golf 2008 3.2L Manual 5-door Hatchback
Description
So, I’ve been keeping this car for years — it’s a 2008 Golf 3.2L 5-door hatchback with manual transmission. It’s a proper MK5, not a flashy one, just a solid, reliable machine that’s been well looked after.I’ve had it for a while now, and it’s always been serviced properly — regular checks, no shortcuts. The service history is solid, and I’ve kept it in good shape. It’s got a clean HPI, no major issues, nothing to worry about. It drives beautifully — smooth in all gears, the 3.2L engine sounds great, and it pulls well, especially on the highway.
It’s covered about 158k miles, which isn’t bad for its age, and the bodywork is average for the time. There’s some surface rust on the wings and rear quarter — you’d expect that from a MK5 after so many years — and a few little scrapes, mostly from normal use. Underneath, it’s clean, and there’s just a bit of age-related marks.
I’ve spent around £500 on bodywork recently, which brings it back to a decent, tidy state. It comes with full logbook, two keys, and all the original extras — heated seats (5-stage), full leather interior, auto projector headlights, and cruise control.
I’m not taking offers — just want a straightforward, no-nonsense buyer who’s okay with doing their own inspection. AA or RAC checks are totally fine. I’ve got a video of the car online if you’re interested.
It’s in Tiptree, Colchester, and I can arrange delivery if needed. No time-wasters, no drama — just someone who wants to get on with it. If you’re curious, just drop me a line.
