This old chimney pot has been a staple in our garden for 25 years. I’ve always loved how it adds a bit of charm to the back fence, and every year I’d buy a hanging basket to go in the top—grew all sorts of things from marigolds to sweet peas. It’s slightly worn now, a bit of rust on the edge, but it’s sturdy and still holds its shape. I’m keeping it because it’s a bit of a memory, not just a garden thing.
