Description

Hey, I’m letting out a room in a pretty chill creative warehouse in Brierfield, Borough of Pendle. We’re looking for someone to join our little crew starting September 1st — though we’re flexible if you need to move in a bit later. We’ll be doing viewings soon, so if you’re interested, just send me a quick note with a bit about yourself — name, age, what you do for a living, and what kind of vibe you’re into. We’re looking for tidy, fun, open-minded folks in their mid-20s and up, and we’d also be happy to welcome a couple.

The room is on the downstairs floor — it’s a double-sized space with no external windows, but it’s well-ventilated. The warehouse has a massive open area with 5.5m ceilings, a big external window, a dedicated workbench for art or carpentry, a workout zone, and a mezzanine area with hot desks for working. The kitchen is huge — two ovens, two hobs, four fridges, and three freezers. There are two showers, one bath, and three toilets. We don’t smoke indoors, and there’s a weekly cleaner included in the rent. We also have a little kitty of £10 per person per month for things like cleaning supplies and toilet roll.

We’ve got 15 people in total, and while it’s not always quiet, it’s actually pretty laid-back. Most of us work in different fields — art, film, music, science, software, healthcare, hair, carpentry, and even pyrotechnics — so there’s always something interesting going on. We enjoy house dinners, BBQs, movie nights, and weekend get-togethers, but we also respect people who want to chill and do their own thing. We’re all really supportive of each other’s creative ideas.

We’re not far from the main hub — about a 10-minute walk from the underground, 15 minutes to Seven Sisters and Stamford Hill, and 20–30 minutes to Stoke Newington Church Street. Buses (and night buses) are just around the corner, and there’s a real warehouse scene nearby — local bars, music gigs, and art studios are all within walking distance.

If you’re thinking of it, just drop me a line — I’d love to hear from you and chat more. No pressure, just a real vibe and a space that feels like home.

P.S. The first month’s rent is £800 (or £950 for a couple), plus a one-month upfront payment (which counts as the final month’s rent) and a £50 deposit. So total upfront is £1,650 for a single, £1,950 for a couple. But honestly, it’s more about fitting in than paying — just let me know if you’re up for it.
