Description

So, I’ve got a 2024 BMW IX1 eDrive20 Sport electric on the shelf here in Knighton, Powys — it’s a fairly new one, but it’s had a bit of front-end damage from a collision and’s been through an insurance claim. The body’s been assessed, and it’s repairable, so it’s not a total write-off.

I’m not selling it as “perfect” — it’s not. It’s just what it is. I’ve pulled up the details from the insurance records, but I’d really recommend you check it yourself before you even think about buying. The pictures and descriptions on sites like eBay or Gumtree are just a quick snapshot — they don’t always show the full story.

If you’re serious about looking at it, I’d say bring someone with you — someone who knows cars. A mechanic, or even just a good-eyed friend who can spot the kind of things you don’t see from a distance. The damage is front-end, so it’s not something that’ll affect the whole drivetrain, but it’s still not something you’d drive on public roads without a proper repair and full inspection.

The vehicle hasn’t been tested for long-term use — it’s been stored, and the engine and gearbox aren’t guaranteed to start or run smoothly after being driven. If it starts, it might not stay running. It’s not safe to drive it on the road until it’s fully repaired and passed a proper MOT.

I can’t give any warranty on this one — not at all. Everything’s sold as seen. If you’re thinking of buying it, you’re responsible for doing your own checks, including HPI, and making sure it’s safe and legal to drive.

I’m not offering a price — it’s £9,895.50, but that’s not what’s in the title. I don’t want to sound like a salesperson. This is just a car I’ve got on hand, and I’m trying to get it out of storage.

If you’d like to see it, I’m happy to arrange a viewing. Just give me a call — either Shaun or Dave — between 9am and 4pm on weekdays. I’ve got a bit of office time too, and I can help you get it out to you, though delivery is at extra cost.

No private plates, no known mileage — it came from a major insurer, so it’s not a personal vehicle. And yeah, some of the specs or features like the charging plug or sat nav maps might not be where you expect. I’d say just check it in person.

If you don’t collect it by the agreed date, I’m free to keep the deposit and sell it to someone else. That’s how it works.

No second-hand guarantees. No liability once it leaves the yard. Just a car that’s been through the system — and now, I’m offering it to someone who knows what they’re looking at.

Let me know if you want to talk. I’m not trying to push anything — just sharing what’s on hand.
