2022 Vauxhall Corsa 1.2 T Elite Edition 5-door hatchback
Description
This little Corsa from 2022 is actually pretty packed for a compact hatch – I’ve kept it mostly as-is since I moved to Crieff in Perth and Kinross, and it’s been a solid daily driver. It’s got that clean, modern look with body-colour door handles, mirrors, bumpers, and a bit of chrome trim that gives it a sharper feel.Inside, the dash is a bit slick with a 7-inch digital screen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto set up, and a central display that shows the clock, outside temp, and audio info. I use it for music and navigation all the time, and the infotainment is actually pretty responsive. There’s also a remote control on the steering wheel – right side – with buttons for phone and cruise, and the left side has a proper phone pad.
It’s got a lot of smart safety stuff: lane departure warning, driver drowsiness alert, front and rear parking sensors, pedestrian detection, and even a drowsiness alert. The headlamps have high beam assist and auto-leveling, and the wipers are smart – they adjust with the rain. I also use the rear camera a lot when parking, especially with the panoramic view.
The car has a few nifty little things like a trip computer (shows range, fuel economy, average speed), speed-sensitive steering, and traffic sign recognition. There’s also a start/stop system and an oil life indicator – I’ve noticed the engine runs smooth and it’s been pretty reliable.
I didn’t go full tech mode, but it does have a DAB radio, six speakers, Bluetooth streaming, USB, and even a heated rear window with wash/wipe. The seats are comfy, and the interior is clean and well-maintained.
It’s been a real workhorse for me in Crieff, and I’m just selling it now because I’ve been downsizing. It’s not a flashy car, but it’s reliable, practical, and gets me from A to B without a fuss.
Price is £12,235.50 – I’ve kept it low because it’s been a good fit for my lifestyle. If you’re looking for something simple, practical, and slightly tech-savvy, this might just be the one.
