Description

So, I’ve been holding onto this 2005 Maserati Coupe Cambiocorsa for a while now — bought it new in March 2005 from Maranello, back in St Johns Hill. It’s been a real treat to keep it in good shape over the years.

It’s a solid example both inside and out — the red calipers pop against the paint, and the interior’s grey leather’s been mostly untouched. Only one tiny mark in the seats, and no sticky buttons like some of these cars get. The electric seats are still working, and I even found the original factory air compressor in the boot, along with two bottles of original oil. Feels like it’s been treated properly.

I’ve had it serviced a few times — 14 service stamps in the book — and the last major one was in August 2024, which cost about £1,330. Then there was a clutch job in November 2022, which was a bit of a big one at £6,900 — invoices are all in the file. I’ve also had a new battery and it’s been ticking over fine since.

The car starts on the key and the engine — that Ferrari-sourced 4.2L V8 — sounds serious and powerful. No weird noises or warning lights in our test drive. It passed its MOT last year with no advisories, and it’s got the registration number pictured here, plus a spare key.

It’s got 33,000 miles, which is low for a car this age, and it’s been well looked after with MOTs back to 2006. The paint’s clean, and it’s been stored properly.

I’m selling it at the September 2025 auction in Glossop, High Peak — it’s a great chance to get a proper Italian sports car without paying a fortune. The estimate’s around £10,000–£12,000, with buyer’s premium and VAT to consider.

I’ve not had much use of it lately, so it’s still in good condition and ready to go. Just thought I’d share it — if you’re into classic cars and like the kind of driving feel these things give, it’s worth a look.

If you’re interested, I’ll be at the auction on 6th September, and I can send over more photos or videos if needed.

No warranty from the seller, obviously — you’ll need to check it over yourself before committing. But it’s been well kept and has a lot of provenance.

P.S. I’m not selling it because I want to, I just needed to move on — and it’s time to find a new home.
