2003 BMW 3 Series 330CI Convertible Manual
Description
I’m selling my 2003 BMW 330CI M Sport convertible – it’s one of the earlier E46 models, and I’ve loved driving it for years. It’s been well looked after, with the original service book still in the glovebox, and every service entry is there from when I first got it through Rydale BMW all the way through to the last one at Bartlett BMW.It’s Imola Red with cream leather seats and light myrtle wood trim – the M Sports package II is fully present, including the sports suspension, dynamic stability control, and those nice soft top and hardtop prep details. The black mohair soft top is in good shape, and the interior is clean and tidy.
I’ve kept it mostly as it came, so all the tech bits are still working: xenon headlights, rain sensor, parking aid, Bluetooth-ready audio, CD changer, and a full Harman Kardon system. The steering wheel has the multifunction M Sports setup, and the seats have memory and heating – driver and passenger.
It’s a UK/Ireland version, ULEZ compliant, and has 229 g/km emissions. The engine is a 3.0L, 231 bhp – not flashy, but smooth and reliable. I’ve had it through a full MOT and service check before selling, and it’s been kept in good order.
I’m based in Cheshunt, Broxbourne, so if you're around that way, I’m happy to chat or meet up. I’ve been with James Paul Car Sales for years – it’s a family-run business in Bucks Green, and they’ve been specialising in BMWs since 1990. I know they do a proper pre-delivery check, and every car goes through a full inspection, including a fresh MOT if needed.
The car comes with a 3-month warranty (extendable), and I’ve seen it through a 30-day settling-in period where any minor issues like squeaks or rattles get sorted for free. There’s also a 6-month parts and labour cover, which I’m happy to share.
I’ve been using it for daily drives and long trips, and it’s never been written off or involved in major accidents. The mileage is genuine – it’s not a “cheapo” deal, but it’s a solid, well-maintained example of a classic E46.
It’s not cheap at £13,491 – I know that – but it’s been worth it over the years. If you’re looking for a reliable, well-sorted BMW that’s not just a showroom model, this one might be worth a look.
No reservations through third-party sites – if you’re interested, just give me a call. I’m happy to talk through it or even arrange a viewing.
I’ve been driving this car for over 15 years, and I still get a real kick out of it. If you’ve ever wanted a BMW that’s got character, this one’s got it.
