Thule 9503 RideOn 3 Bike Carrier
Description
I’ve had this Thule 9503 RideOn 3 bike carrier for a few years now, and it’s been super reliable. It’s the kind of thing you’d want if you’re just getting into bike transport or need something simple and sturdy—no frills, no nonsense, just gets the job done. It’s been used but still in great shape, and I can show you how to install it in under a minute—no stress, no fiddling. I’ve got the spanner included, so you can try it out on your own or just pop over and test it. The lights work with a standard 7-pin plug, and I’ve got 13-pin adapters if you need them.
I’m based in broughty-ferry, Queen Street, so collection’s easy—just bring your bikes and we can check it out. Cash only, no hassle.
The thing is, it’s got a tilt function so you don’t have to pull the bikes off to access the boot. Soft straps keep your bikes secure, and it fits most towbars—no issue with standard or carbon frames. The frame holders are adjustable, so you can get a good fit for most bikes.
It holds up to three bikes, weighs just 12kg, and fits in a tight space when folded (106 x 77 x 25 cm). Max load’s 45kg, and each bike can weigh up to 15kg.
If you’re using a 29er, you’ll want a different carrier like the 925 or 927 VeloCompact—this one’s not designed for those.
I’ve got a Thule Lock (957000) and a cable lock (538000) if you’re thinking about locking it down, but those are separate purchases.
It’s not fancy, but it’s solid. Perfect for someone who just wants to get their bikes on the road without all the complexity. I’m happy to help you through it—just bring your bikes and we’ll sort it out.
