Got this Tone King 12-watt Falcon valve amp sitting in my garage in new-rossington, Doncaster, and I’ve been using it for years — mostly for home sessions, so it’s been kept in a smoke-free spot and treated well. It’s a proper hand-wired boutique amp, which is one of the reasons I’ve always loved it. The built-in Iron Man attenuator means I can crank it down to bedroom-friendly levels without losing punch, and it’s loud enough to handle gigs if I ever go on tour (which I haven’t, so it’s been mostly a home player). The clean tone is crystal clear, and it really breaks up for blues and rock — I’ve used it with pedals and it handles them great. I don’t play much these days, so it’s time to find someone who’ll really get to use it. It’s been maintained over the years, no major issues, just a solid piece of gear that’s been trusted over time.
