I’ve had this Lakeland 1.5L slow cooker for a few years now and it’s been super reliable. I bought it new, and it’s still never been used much — just a few simple meals here and there. No original box, but the instruction manual is tucked in the back, so I can still follow it when needed. It’s compact, so fits well in my kitchen cupboard, and has three heat settings. The ceramic pot is dishwasher safe, and the glass lid lets you see what’s cooking without having to open it. I keep it on the stove for slow meals, like stews or soups, and it really works. The cookbook that came with it is by Catherine Atkinson — over 220 easy, no-fuss recipes, mostly using simple ingredients. I’ve gone through a few of the ones I’ve tried, and they’re pretty tasty. I’m moving to Laurencekirk, Aberdeenshire, so I’m passing it on. It’s still in great shape, just not the same as when I first got it.
