2020 Honda HR-V 1.5 i-VTEC SE 5dr Hatchback PETROL Manual
Description
I’ve had this 2020 Honda HR-V for a couple of years now — it’s been my go-to for commuting and weekend trips around Port-Glasgow, Inverclyde. The blue paint really stands out, and it’s a solid little car that doesn’t scream “car” — just a clean, practical presence. It’s a 1.5-litre i-VTEC engine with a manual gearbox, which gives you that bit of engagement you don’t always get in modern cars. The way it handles on twisty bits or in the city is surprisingly good. The seats are comfortable, and the cabin stays cool thanks to the aircon — which I’ve used quite a bit in summer.
I love the LED daytime running lights; they look sharp, especially at dusk. The infotainment system has a decent radio and sat-nav, and I’ve used Bluetooth a lot — no fiddling with phones while driving. The rear camera helps a lot when parking, especially in tight spots like the little streets near the harbour.
It’s got ESP, airbag pretensioners, and the full safety kit — nothing flashy, just solid basics. The space inside is more than enough for two adults and a couple of kids, and there’s plenty of room for gear. I’ve used it for everything from school runs to weekend hikes, and it’s held up well.
I’m selling it because I’ve recently moved to a new place and just need to upgrade — it’s been reliable, and I don’t want to keep it around. The price is £14,845.50, which I think is fair given the mileage and condition.
If you’re in Port-Glasgow, Inverclyde, I’m happy to meet up or chat it over — just let me know. No fancy ads, just a real person selling a car they’ve genuinely used.
