Got this old oak chest in my garage in Bramhope, West Yorkshire – it’s a solid piece with real oak grain running through it. It’s a tallboy style, 10 drawers, and the joints are dovetail, which means it’s built properly. The metal handles are polished and look nice. It’s not the fanciest thing in the world, but it’s sturdy and has a real wood feel. Measures about 42cm wide, 31.5cm deep, and 104.5cm tall. It’s been sitting in the back of my flat for years, mostly because I couldn’t decide what to do with it. Still has a bit of character, and I’m happy to part with it at £157.50.
