We’re looking for a quiet rural detached house to rent long term—something with a garden would be perfect. We’ve been in our current place for four years and are comfortable with a bit of a basic setup, no need for fancy updates.

I’m Ben, 42, and Sarah, 49—we’re a calm couple who love gardening, photography, and walking in the countryside with our dogs. No kids, just a relaxed, low-key vibe. We have two well-behaved mature dogs who don’t bother with livestock or horses, plus two cats and a small flock of chickens.

We’re happy to give references—including one from our current landlord—and can offer a guarantor if needed.

We’re based in Sedbergh, Westmorland and Furness, so it’s a bit of a drive from town, but the countryside is lovely and peaceful. If you’ve got a quiet house with space and a garden, we’d love to chat.
