I’ve had this 2022 Kia Sportage Shadow for a few years now — it’s been my go-to for both city drives and longer trips. It’s metallic Phantom Black, so it stands out a bit, and it’s got the hybrid powertrain with automatic transmission. The 207 bhp isn’t flashy, but it’s plenty for everyday use — especially with the 49.6 mpg fuel economy. Top speed’s around 115 mph, which is more than enough for most roads.

It’s a five-seater with a boot that kicks up to 1776 litres when the seats are folded — super handy when I’ve got kids or a load of gear. Only had one previous owner, so it’s been well-maintained. The interior is clean and practical, and the ride is smooth without being too stiff.
