Coleman Valdes 6XL Tent
Description
I’ve had this Coleman Valdes 6XL tent for a few years now, and it’s been used only twice — both times on weekend trips with friends. It’s been well looked after, and I’m happy to say it’s still in great shape. It’s an air tent, so it’s super easy to set up — no fiddly poles or complicated steps. One of the things I love is the blackout bedrooms. They’re really effective, especially when you’re trying to sleep in a quiet, dark environment. The tent has a footprint and a carpet, and I’ve got loads of accessories tucked away — things like poles, stakes, and a carry bag. I’m selling it as a bit of a job lot, so it’s a full set.
I’m from Falkirk, Scotland, and it’s been stored in a smoke-free home. The tent is a bit heavy, but it fits easily in a car boot — not too bulky. It’s 4.2m x 6.7m x 2.2m, has three sleeping rooms (each 140cm wide), and a total sleeping area of 9m². There’s also a living area of 12.1m² and a storage space.
The inner fabric is breathable polyester with a no-see-um mesh, and it’s fire-retardant on the outside. The entrance is a roll-up door, and it has seven windows with UV protection. It’s water-resistant and can handle a water column of 4500mm — so it’s fairly durable.
I’ve included the wheeled carry bag, which is made of 100% polyester. The pack size is 78x58x50cm, and it weighs 38.4kg. I’ve used it for weekend camping and holiday trips, and honestly, it’s been a solid companion.
I’ve got a separate listing for camping gear — if you’re interested in that, just let me know. The tent’s a bit heavy, but it’s reliable and easy to manage. I’m selling it at £315 — I’ve kept it clean and stored properly, so it’s ready to go.
If you’ve used air tents before or are looking for something reliable and easy to pitch, this one’s worth a look.
