2011 Volkswagen Passat Estate manual 1.6 diesel
Description
So, I’m reluctantly putting this Passat Estate up for sale. Honestly, I didn’t plan on selling it — my partner just got her test and now she’s got her own car, and I’ve got a work van, so it’s just sitting there. No point keeping it around. It’s a 2011 Passat Estate, manual, 1.6 diesel, 1598cc — clean looking, black, and it’s been well-maintained before I got it. I serviced it at Isaac Agnew up to 70k, and the timing belt was done at 107k, so it’s had proper care. MOT runs until February, which is good. Tax and insurance are low — it’s a diesel, so that helps.
The car’s fairly clean, with the usual signs of age, and there’s a bit of rust on the back right passenger door — not bad, just something you see on older cars. I’ve got two keys, but one doesn’t actually lock or unlock, it just turns the engine on.
I really don’t want to sell it — I’ve driven it a lot over the years and it’s been a solid companion. But this one’s just not practical anymore. I won’t be driving it, insurance’s been cancelled, so it’s basically just sitting.
If you’re looking for a reliable, low-maintenance diesel estate with a good service history, it’s a solid one. I’ve kept it in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, so if you’re local, it’s not too far. I’m not holding out for much — it’s just something I need to part with.
(Price is £2,655 — I know, not ideal, but it’s what it is.)
