I’ve had this bike for a few years now, and it’s been my daily ride every single day — nothing fancy, just reliable and solid. It’s a 2008 R1200RT, low mileage, well looked after with a fresh 1-year MOT. The alarm’s still working, heated grips and seats are a nice touch, and it’s got ABS. No error codes ever, so it’s been a smooth ride. I did a full engine, gearbox, and rear axle service a few months ago, plus fresh oil in the forks and fuel pump. Valve clearances were checked a few hundred miles back — all good. There’s a bit of age-related wear, like old scratches and dents, but it’s not a big deal. I’ve actually been using it every day, so the mileage is going up, but it’s still in great shape.
