I’m selling my 2013 BMW X5 3.0d M Sport estate – it’s been a real workhorse for me over the years. I’ve had it since new and it’s been through a lot of miles, but it’s still in great shape and runs smoothly. The diesel engine’s not flashy, but it’s got plenty of punch – gets from 0 to 62 in about 7 seconds, which is pretty decent for a big estate.

It’s got the M Sport styling, which gives it that sharp, sporty look, and the four-wheel drive helps out on wet roads or when I’m driving through the countryside near Oldham. The panoramic sunroof is a real plus – you can actually feel the outside world when you’re in it. Third-row seats mean it’s been great for family trips, and the audio system is solid – I’ve never needed to switch to something else.

I’ve kept it well maintained, and it’s got all the modern features like automatic dimming mirrors and the ConnectedDrive package. The boot’s big enough for camping gear or a couple of suitcases. It’s Euro 6 compliant, so no hassle with emissions checks. Insurance’s actually lower than I expected for a vehicle this size, which is a bonus.

It’s not flashy, but it’s reliable, quiet, and has a solid feel when driving. I’m moving house and just need to get rid of it. It’s been stored in a garage, so it’s been kept clean and protected. If you’re looking for a solid, capable estate that doesn’t skimp on comfort or practicality, this one’s been a great fit for me.

Price is £7,650 – not too bad for what it is. Just a bit of a long drive from Oldham, but I’ve already got a good idea of where I’ll be next.
