I’m parting with my 2017 BMW R1200 RT LE ABS tourer – it’s been well looked after and I’ve used it mostly for long rides and weekend trips around Hertford, East Hertfordshire. The bike’s got the full factory safety belt pretensioners, and it’s been through a proper technical check, so it runs smoothly and feels solid.

I bought it through a Vertu Motors dealership in Sunderland back in the day – they do a solid job with used bikes, with a clean service history and warranty coverage for two years. I’ve kept it maintained and it’s still in great shape, just not quite as flashy as it could be.

I’ve actually never needed to service it beyond the regular checks, and it’s been a reliable companion for the journey. I’m selling it because I’ve shifted focus and don’t need it as much anymore.

It’s worth about £6,748 – that’s the market value, not a bargain, but it’s what it’s worth. If you’re a rider who likes a solid, well-built touring bike, it’s a solid option.
