2017 Vauxhall Mokka X 1.4i Turbo EcoTEC Active SUV
Description
So, I’ve got this 2017 Vauxhall Mokska X 1.4i Turbo – not the flashy one, but a solid, practical SUV with a good mix of style and usability. It’s got a 140 PS turbo engine and a 6-speed manual, which is perfect if you like driving it properly without relying on the auto. I’ve actually driven it quite a bit over the years – city stuff, country drives, even some long weekend trips – and it handles well.Inside, it’s fairly modern for its time: 7-inch touchscreen with IntelliLink, climate control, heated and electric mirrors, and a height-adjustable steering wheel. The seats are comfy, and the 60-40 split folding rear seat means you can squeeze in extra space when needed. I’ve kept it well maintained – two previous owners, full service history, and I’ve just completed the latest service so it’s all ready for a fresh MOT.
Exterior-wise, it’s got those sleek body-colour door handles, 18-inch alloy wheels, and silver-effect roof rails – not flashy, but gives it a bit of character. Safety features are solid: ABS, ESP, emergency brake assist, full airbag protection, side impact beams, and a reinforced passenger cell. I’ve also got a Supagard protection deal on it – for just £199 – which seals the paint and coats the interior to keep it looking good and protect it from spills and UV damage.
I’m based in Chipping Sodbury, South Gloucestershire, and it’s actually been sitting in a garage since I moved here – so it’s been well looked after. I’ve got a few other cars on the shelf too, if you’re curious, though this one is the one I’m most proud of. It’s not perfect – it’s a bit older now – but it’s reliable, handles well, and still feels like a good day-to-day car. If you’re looking for something that’s not too expensive to run and actually works, this one might be worth a look.
