Audi A6 40 TDI Sport 5dr S Tronic Diesel
Description
So, I’ve had this Audi A6 for just over a year now — it’s been my daily driver through the winter and early spring, and honestly, it’s been a solid workhorse. I’m moving house and it’s time to part with it.It’s the 40 TDI Sport version, 5-door, with the S Tronic gearbox — no fancy extras, just clean, practical stuff. The interior is a bit of a dream: leather seats, dual touchscreen MMI (one 8.8", one 8.6"), with haptic and sound feedback. The dash is pretty sharp, and there’s a full suite of driver aids — lane departure warning, adaptive cruise, voice control, DAB radio, USB and aux in, even a SD slot.
It’s got all the modern safety stuff: ABS, ESC, airbags (front, side, head), electronic brake distribution, parking sensors, tyre pressure warning, and even a little bit of driver assistance like Audi Pre-sense Front. There’s also a nice bit of tech — keyless go, automatic dimming mirrors, heated glass, and ambient lighting.
Wheels are alloy, front and rear, with the chrome trim and matt black side intakes. Inside, it’s got leatherette on the dash and door panels, a front centre armrest, power windows, mirrors, remote central locking, and even a first aid kit and warning triangle. The seats are comfy with 4-way lumbar support for driver and front passenger.
I’ve kept it well-maintained — regular service, no major issues. The car has been used mostly for commuting and short trips around Jarrow, South Tyneside, and I’ve even got a tool kit and jack in the boot.
It’s not flashy, but it’s reliable, quiet, and gets good mileage on diesel. I’m not selling it for a quick buck — it’s just that I’m moving and don’t need it anymore.
Price is £19,345.50 — fair enough, I suppose. If you’re someone who values a bit of tech, comfort, and safety without the noise, this one’s a decent fit. Let me know if you’ve driven one or just want to chat. No pressure — I’m just getting rid of it.
