Got this one in Maidstone, Kent — it’s a 2017 VW Transporter that’s been converted for wheelchair access, with four seats (two front, two back). I’ve been using it for a while now, mainly for private hire and carrying a buggy or scooter around — it’s been a real help when I’ve been out with family or friends.

It comes with a power wheelchair ramp, power tailgate, front and rear parking sensors, air conditioning, electric windows, adjustable mirrors, power steering, and central locking. The rear windows are tinted, and it has all the safety features like ESP and pretensioner seat belts. There’s also a full set of wheelchair restraints — no extra cost, just ready to go.

The car’s been properly serviced and has a valid MOT for at least nine months. If you’re thinking of buying it for a taxi, a camper conversion, or just to make life easier for someone with mobility needs, this one’s solid.

I’ve kept it well looked after, and it’s been either a Motability or privately used vehicle — both have good track records. It’s not a showroom model, it’s been used and trusted.
