2007 Volkswagen Golf Hatchback Manual 5-door
Description
So, I’ve had this Golf for a few years now and it’s been a solid daily driver, especially for the long commutes I’ve been doing. It’s a 2007 manual, 1968cc, five-door – the kind of car you’d expect to see on a country road with a bit of a character. The mechanic said there’s an issue with the turbo – not sure if it’s going to need replacing, but I’ve been keeping an eye on it. Still, it’s been through a few key jobs: timing belt and water pump done twice, last one at 20k miles, with receipts to prove it.
Last year I had a full clutch and flywheel job – new release bearing too. Front wings got replaced recently, and I’ve got that R32 back bumper and side skirts on now, which gives it a bit of a cool edge. All brakes are brand new – pads, discs, calipers – so it’s got good stopping power.
It’s got an 11-month MOT and full service history. I’ve just had the fuel and oil filters done too. Honestly, it’s not perfect, but it’s reliable and I’m happy with how it’s been maintained.
It’s in north-tawton, West Devon if you’re local and want to check it out. I’m not looking to sell it fast, just passing it on to someone who might appreciate it. Price’s at £990 – not a huge amount, but it’s been well looked after.
