I’m selling my 2022 Peugeot 2008 Allure Premium – a solid, well-maintained hatchback that’s been a real joy to drive. It’s a 1.2-litre petrol engine, manual gearbox, and fully Euro 6 compliant, so it runs cleanly and gets great fuel economy – I’ve been hitting around 53 mpg on the road, which is better than most of its peers.

Inside, it’s got that neat PEUGEOT 3D i-Cockpit with the 3D head-up display, which is a bit of a standout – feels futuristic and keeps your eyes on the road. The Mirror Screen works seamlessly with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and I’ve used it loads for calls and navigation without ever having to take my hands off the wheel. Bluetooth hands-free calls are a real plus too.

The LED headlights are bright, and the cabin air conditioning has pollen and carbon filters – useful for when the weather turns damp. It also has ESP, airbag pretensioners, and a solid safety profile.

I’ve kept it well looked after, and it’s driven only a few thousand miles. It’s not flashy, but it’s reliable, efficient, and drives smoothly – great for city living or weekend trips.

I bought it a few years ago when I moved to the Isles of Scilly, England, and it’s been a reliable companion on those long coastal drives and island hops. I’ve only just realised I don’t need it anymore – it’s time to pass it on.

It’s priced at £12,447, which is a fair bit for a used hatchback in this class, but I’m happy to part with it given how it’s been used.
