I’ve had this 2005 Subaru WRX STI in my garage for a couple of years now – it’s one of those cars that just feels right. It’s a JDM Hawkeye model, the classic 2.0L EJ20 twin-scroll turbo setup, and it’s been kept in great shape with no road salt exposure. The chassis is rust-free, which is rare for a car this old, and it’s been properly serviced through the years. I’ve just had a new cambelt fitted, and it’s still running smooth with original speedo and no major issues.

It’s a wide track version – gives it that extra stability, especially when you’re doing corners or just cruising on a B-road. The 20L engine doesn’t just punch when you floor it, it feels like it’s ready to go at a moment’s notice. I’ve seen it on the road a few times and it’s always been a solid performer.

It’s registered, has 123,000km on the clock, and it’s been kept clean and well-maintained. No dents, no rust, just solid build quality. I’ve not driven it on salted roads, so it’s in great condition for daily use or weekend trips.
