Description

So, I’ve been living in this Winnebago Minnie Winnie 31B Bunkhouse for the past couple of years — it’s been my home away from home on the Isle of Lewis, Western Isles. It’s a 2017 model with the classic LPG conversion, which means you don’t have to worry about running out of fuel on long drives.

It’s got two big slide-outs with toppers, and the Ford E450 Triton engine is smooth and reliable. The gearbox is a six-speed auto with torque shift — not too flashy, but gets the job done. There’s a lot of storage, from cupboards to wardrobes, and two full-size bunk beds — perfect if you’re sharing space with family or friends.

Sleeps up to nine people — the rear queen island bed is on an east-west layout, which means you can get a decent night’s sleep even if you’re not used to sleeping on a roof. There’s a full shower with a W.C. and vanity, and the kitchen has all the basics — everything’s fitted, so no fumbling around.

The settee and dinette fold into the main seating, and there’s a big over-cab bed too. Everything’s seat-belted, which I’ve come to appreciate after a few years of long drives. Roof air conditioning is ice cold in summer, and the central heating runs automatically — no fiddling with knobs.

I’ve kept it well maintained, so it’s got a full set of manuals and original documentation. There’s also a security safe, an alarm with immobiliser, and a tracker — just in case. The front has a 32” TV, 110/240/12V electrics, and a 4kVA Onan generator. Reversing camera too — useful when parking in tight spots.

It’s UK-spec, has a tow hitch, and an electric sun awning. There’s even a beach shower — handy when you’re out on the coast. I’ve owned it as a private user, not a rental, so it’s been properly used and cared for.

One USA owner, one UK owner — both have kept it well. I’ve not seen a better setup for a family wanting to live in a motorhome long-term.

I’m not selling it to anyone who’s just looking for a quick fix — I only go for clean, tidy, and well-maintained units. This one has been through proper inspections, comes with a full MOT, and I offer a peace-of-mind warranty.

If you’re serious about it, I’m happy to let you take a full inspection — I’ll even let you check the mechanics and interior. I’m based on the Isle of Lewis, Western Isles, and I’m available to meet up during weekday afternoons.

No instant payments, no mess — just a solid, well-kept motorhome that’s actually lived in. Price is £57,600 — I know it’s not cheap, but it’s what it is. If you’re thinking about moving to a quieter place and want a reliable, family-friendly setup, this might be the one.
