So, I’ve had this Volvo V40 for a few years now and honestly, it’s been a solid daily driver. It’s a 2016 2.0L diesel with 118bhp – not flashy, but reliable. Got the R Design trim, which gives it a bit of edge without being too flashy. The auto transmission is smooth, and I’ve done a few servicing jobs over the years – just like I’d do on my own car.

It’s been kept clean and well looked after – no smoking, no pets, just quiet, tidy driving. Recently got the brakes overhauled, timing belt replaced, and the car’s been through a full MOT. All the running parts are in good shape, and the tyres still have plenty of life left, including the run-flat ones which I’ve kept just in case.

It starts up every time, runs perfectly, and has cruise control, speed limiter, and forward collision auto brake – things I actually use when I’m on the road. It’s not flashy, but it’s dependable. I’ve lived in Denny, Falkirk for a while now, so it’s been a real home base.

I’m parting with it because I’ve moved on to something else, and it’s been a solid companion over the years. The price is £6,750 – fair, I think, given how it’s been maintained. If you’re looking for something reliable and low-maintenance, this one’s been through a lot and still runs like a dream.
