2017 BMW X5 xDrive40e M Sport Hybrid Auto – Damaged, Starts and Drives, Repairable

Hey, I’m selling my 2017 BMW X5 xDrive40e M Sport hybrid – it’s a 17 reg, automatic, and the inside media screen and controls are missing. It starts up and runs fine, but it’s been through an insurance claim and is currently in salvage condition.

It’s not a clean, showroom-ready car – it’s been damaged, so if you're thinking about buying it, I’d really recommend you come and see it in person. I’ve had a mechanic friend check it out, and it’s definitely not something you’d just drive off the lot without a full inspection.

The car’s been stored at a salvage yard in Billingshurst, Daux Road, and I’m happy to arrange a viewing or collection – just let me know. Delivery can be arranged across the UK, though it’ll cost extra.

I’ve not got any of the original interior bits – no sat nav, no parcel shelf, no spare wheel, no charging plug – everything’s been stripped down during the claim. The reg is GGZ8503 if you want to check it.

I’m not giving any warranties or guarantees. This is exactly how it is – no second-guessing, no hidden issues. If you’re serious about buying it, bring your own mechanic or engineer to go through it properly.

It’s not something you’d use on the road without a full repair and a new MOT after. The HPI might show it as clear at the time of check, but eventually it’ll be recorded on there – so I’d suggest you do your own check.
