I’m selling my 2018 Peugeot 5008 BlueHDi GT Line – it’s been a solid daily driver for years and still runs like a dream. The 1.5-litre diesel engine is efficient, getting around 56 mpg, which is great for a family car. It meets Euro 6 standards, so it’s clean and low on CO2 – not a bad thing when you're thinking about the environment.

The GT Line trim gives it a bit of premium feel – I love the Mirror Screen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, so I can just keep my phone connected without switching over. Parking’s a breeze thanks to the Visio Park 1 system: front and rear sensors, a 180-degree reversing camera, and the front parking sensors all work together to make it easy in tight spaces.

Inside, there’s a nice blue ambient lighting setup that lights up the head-up display, which helps keep your eyes on the road. Full LED headlights mean better visibility in the dark, and the cabin feels spacious and well put together. The boot’s big enough for a full weekend trip or a load of shopping, which is handy.

One thing I’ve noticed is how low the insurance group is – that’s a real saving over the years. I’ve kept it well looked after, and it’s been mostly used for family trips and weekend drives.
