2012 Volkswagen Golf Plus 1.6 TDI 5-door hatchback

Got this Golf Plus back in 2012, and it’s been a solid workhorse ever since. Black, diesel, 1.6 TDI, manual gearbox – the kind of car you’d trust on a long drive or a weekend trip. It’s got 115,000 miles on it now, but I’ve kept it well looked after. Two previous owners, full service history, and the cam belt was replaced at 99k – that’s been a while ago.

MOT runs until June 2026, and I’ve had a three-month warranty on the AC, CD player, and electric windows. All the windows work, mirrors are electric, and it’s got air con – not perfect, but good enough. Radio is basic, AM/FM, CD player, nothing fancy, but it’s reliable.

It’s been parked in Galashiels, Scottish Borders, for a while now. Spare remote key is tucked away – just in case.
