2018 Ford Transit Connect 1.5 TDCi 240 with 5-speed manual
Description
So I’ve had this 2018 Ford Transit Connect for a few years now — it’s been a solid workhorse, especially for my small business deliveries. It’s a 1.5 TDCi 240, Euro 6 compliant, and has just under 107,000 miles on it. Two owners, clean history, and the MOT is valid until March 2026 — that gives me a bit of peace of mind. The engine’s a bit of a hidden gem — 99bhp, 59mpg, and it’s been a real saver on fuel. I’ve used it for loads of different jobs, from moving goods to just running errands, and it’s handled everything without a hitch. It’s diesel, so it’s not the flashiest, but it’s reliable and quiet — especially on the road.
It’s got all the basics: ABS, ESP, hill start assist, Bluetooth, DAB radio, USB, and plenty of storage. The seats are cloth, charcoal colour — not flashy, but comfortable. I keep the 16-inch steel wheels and a spare wheel on hand.
I’m based in Brynteg, Wrexham, so if you’re local, I can meet up or even drop it off if you want to see it in person. I’m happy to chat about it or show you a quick drive if you’re interested.
I’ve had it checked through HPI, and it comes with a 3-month mechanical warranty and a full MOT printout. I’ve been keeping it well maintained, and it’s been mostly low-mileage use.
It’s not the most flashy van, but it’s been dependable, practical, and cost-effective — especially when you’re running a small operation. If you're looking for something reliable and not over the top, this one might fit.
Price is £6,299 — but I’m not going to say that in the title. Just thought I’d mention it in case you’re weighing it up.
If you’re in the area, let me know and we can arrange a time to chat or take a spin. No pressure, just sharing something I’ve actually used.
