So, I’ve been keeping this little 2014 MINI Cooper Coupe for a while now – bright red, manual gearbox, and it’s actually been a real joy to drive. It’s not flashy, but it’s solid. The 1.6 engine runs smooth, and I’ve had it on the road plenty of times – gets up to 61mpg on average, which is honestly impressive for a small car. Low CO2 too (127g/km), so it’s not just fun, it’s actually fairly eco-friendly.

It’s got all the basics: parking sensors, Bluetooth, climate control, air conditioning, alloy wheels, remote central locking, electric windows, and even a 12V socket. The seats are cloth, not too stiff, and the steering wheel is adjustable – useful if you’ve got a slightly different driving style. I’ve had it in all sorts of weather, and it handles well.
