Description

So I’ve been looking at this T-Roc for a while now — it’s one of those cars that just feels right when you drive it. It’s a 2023 2.0 TDI 150 with 4MOTION all-wheel drive and the R-Line styling, so it’s got that sporty edge without being too flashy. The diesel engine gives you a solid, quiet drive, and the 4MOTION system means you’re covered whether it’s wet, snowy, or just a bit of gravel on the road.

The R-Line trim brings a lot of visual punch — sharp badges, sporty bumpers, and those cool alloy wheels. The five-door layout is handy for getting stuff in and out, especially if you’ve got a bit of luggage or a small load in the back.

Inside, it’s fairly premium — heated front seats, a big panoramic sunroof, and a rear parking camera. I like how the cabin feels calm and modern, with ambient lighting and good quality materials. The digital cockpit shows all the key driving info clearly, and the touchscreen is easy to use, especially with wireless App-Connect so I can just pair my phone and get things like navigation or music without fiddling.

There’s also a lot of safety stuff: adaptive cruise, lane assist, park assist with front and rear sensors, emergency braking, and a hill start assist. The car even has a city emergency brake and pedestrian monitoring — useful stuff if you’re driving around busy areas.

I’ve had a quick look at the tyres — if they’re under 3mm, I’ll replace them. It’s got a solid 9-month MOT and comes with two keys. There’s no servicing cost for the next 6 months or 6,000 miles, which is a nice bonus.

It’s part of Volkswagen’s Approved Used program, so it has a 12-month warranty, 12 months of roadside assistance, and a full multipoint inspection. I’ve checked the history and mileage, and there’s a 30-day/1,000-mile exchange policy in case I decide it’s not quite right.

I’ve also got free 5-day insurance and some flexible finance options if you're thinking of keeping it.

It’s currently based at dalwhinnie, Ben Alder Road — so if you're around there, I’m happy to chat or meet up.

It’s not cheap, but it’s a solid, capable car with a bit of character and a fair bit of tech. I’m not sure if I’ll be keeping it, but I’m putting it out there because I think it’s a good one.
