Got this 2017 Toyota Yaris 1.5 Icon in metallic grey and I’ve been keeping it well looked after — both inside and out. It’s not flashy, but it’s solid, clean, and drives really nicely. The 1.5L petrol engine with manual gearbox gives you that bit of engagement you get when you’re driving, and it’s surprisingly efficient — up to 70mpg, which means lower fuel bills and less CO2 (just 109g/km).

Inside, it’s got a decent set of features: sat-nav, reversing camera, Bluetooth hands-free, DAB radio, cruise control, air conditioning, alloy wheels, USB port, and a few other bits you’d expect from a car that’s been properly maintained. The seats are comfy, the steering’s responsive, and the climate control works well.

It’s not the flashiest car, but it’s reliable, practical, and actually quite fun to drive — especially if you’re looking for something that doesn’t break the bank on fuel. I’ve kept it in good shape over the years, and it’s been used mostly for daily commuting.
