Moustache Samedi 28 Electric Bike
Description
So I’m moving to Woodbridge, East Suffolk, and this bike is going with me. It’s a Moustache Samedi 28.1 from 2022, aluminium frame, medium size — solid build, feels a bit like a bike that’s been loved but not pushed hard. The groupset is Shimano Altus, front and rear derailleurs, 9-speed with a Shimano Altus Rapidfire Plus cassette. Tires are 32H, QR hubs — front and rear, both with good tread. Chain’s a Shimano CS-HG201-9, 11-36T, no issues there. Saddle’s Moustache ergonomic, seat post is Selle Royal Wave, stem’s FSA No 10 — it’s a bit of a classic setup, works well for city rides or off-road trails.
Battery’s Bosch Active Line — 250W, 30/40 Nm, full assist up to 250%, 25km/h, noise-free, frictionless. It’s been used lightly, so battery capacity’s still fresh. Just one or two tiny scratches on the frame — not visible from the front, nothing to worry about.
I’ve used it mostly around London, but I’m not using it much now — just a fun ride, especially when I’m out in parks or on quiet roads. The battery holds up well, so I don’t need to charge it too often — good for longer trips.
I’m selling it because I’m moving, and I’ve actually been pretty happy with how it’s worked over the years. It’s not fancy, but it’s reliable and has a lot of practicality. If you’re into electric bikes that don’t need a lot of fuss, this one’s a solid pick.
It’s not the most flashy, but it’s been a real help over the years — and I’m keeping it in Woodbridge now. £585 if you're interested — fair price, just not something I’d go on the market for.
