Got this Rover Combat 18” push mower sitting in my garage in Uckfield, Wealden, and I’m finally ready to part with it. It’s been properly serviced and the blades have been sharpened, so it’s running smooth and ready to go. The 5hp Briggs & Stratton Quantum engine is solid—starts easily and doesn’t fuss, even on a windy day. The deck’s made of heavy cast aluminium, so it’s tough on the job and doesn’t rust. I’ve always liked how the full grass chute keeps the chute from clogging, especially with wet grass, and the four blades help lift damp stuff without a hitch. You can pick any of the 11 cutting heights with one lever, which makes it easy to adjust for different lawns. The handlebars fold up, so it’s not a pain to store or move around. Comes with a big, solid grass box too. I’ve gone through it a few times and it’s been in good shape.
