I’ve had this 2014 Audi S1 for a few years now and it’s been a real joy to drive. It’s got that glossy black exterior with 18-inch alloy wheels – the 5-spoke star design is quite distinctive, and the black roof really pops. Inside, the air vents have that aluminium look, which just adds to the sporty feel.

It’s a 2.0-litre TFSI petrol engine with quattro all-wheel drive, so it handles well and doesn’t bog down on the road. I’ve tested it quite a few times – gets from 0 to 62 in about 5.9 seconds, which is solid for a hatchback of this type. The 0-60 feels punchy, and it’s not just about looks – it actually feels responsive.

I’ve kept it well maintained with full service history, and it’s got ESP, safety belt pretensioners, and all the modern safety features. The headlights have high-beam assist too, which is handy at night.
