Trend Unibase/150 Router Sub-Base
Description
I’ve had this router sub-base for years and it’s been a real workhorse in my workshop. It’s made from reinforced nylon, so it’s smooth and doesn’t slip when you’re routing — and the brass threaded inserts mean it holds guide bushes securely. The precision centring system makes sure the cutter and guide bush line up perfectly, which is a big help when doing detailed work with jigs. I also like how the quick pattern finder lets you spot the hole locations fast — no more fiddling around. It’s 150mm across with 13 hole patterns, so it fits most 1/4" plunge routers, including the cordless 18V ones I’ve got. The nylon construction means it’s durable and doesn’t scratch easily. I’m not planning to use it much anymore, so I’m parting with it — it’s been a solid addition to my tools.
It’s from bulkington, Wiltshire, and I’m keeping it simple — just a bit of advice and a bit of honesty. If you’re into DIY or woodwork, it’s worth a look. I’ve kept it clean and in good shape, so it’s in solid working order. Only £13.50 — but I’ll just say it’s a solid piece that’s been reliable over the years.
