I’ve been living in this caravan at Sunbeach Holiday Park in Yate, South Gloucestershire — actually, wait, no, I made a mistake. It’s in North Wales, at Sunbeach Holiday Park. Just a quick note: I’ve been using it for the last few years, and it’s been a real home away from home.

It’s a 3-bedroom Atlas Nevada — solid, well-maintained, with double glazing and central heating, so it’s cosy even in the winter. The plot is elevated, and you get panoramic sea views over Cardigan Bay — every morning, I just stand on the deck and watch the sunrise over the water.

The park is fantastic: 11-month season, low site fees (£3,611 a year), and there’s a swimming pool, crazy golf, a sky sports bar, and a restaurant. The beer garden is lovely, especially on a sunny afternoon, and there’s a private beach for owners. There’s always something going on — family events, kids’ activities, just a real sense of community. A lot of families have been here for 40 to 50 years.

I’ve been here for about 6 years, and it’s actually become one of my favourite places. I’m not selling it for a lot — it’s £17,995.50 — but I know it doesn’t hang around long, so if you’re looking for something with real character and sea views, this one’s a solid pick.
