Beginners guide to chess with book and two sets of pieces

Got this old chess set from a computer game that stopped working a few years ago — the board’s been sitting in a sturdy case for ages, and I just thought it’d be useful to pass on. The full set has plastic pieces and a folding board, and it comes with a beginner-friendly guide book. The pieces are in very good condition, not too worn, and the book is still readable.

I also have a second set of chess pieces (no board) and a separate guide book — both from the same computer game. The second set has magnetic pieces, which I kept because I figured they’d still be useful. The board is not magnetic, though — it’s just the pieces that work with the magnetic board.

There’s only one board in the whole lot, so no confusion there. The second set comes in a drawstring bag.

I’m based in Daventry, West Northamptonshire, so it’ll be a bit of a drive to pick it up, but I can drop it off if you want. Cash on collection or PayPal — no bank transfers, sorry. I’ll post it as soon as I can, but my nearest post office is about 8 miles away, so there might be a little delay.
