2017 Land Rover Discovery Sport Special Edition with front end damage
Description
Hey, I’ve got a 2017 Land Rover Discovery Sport Special Edition — one of the ones with the 18-inch alloys and black interior. It’s got climate control and all the standard features, so it’s not a bare bones thing. It’s not perfect — there’s front-end damage, which means it’s been through an insurance claim. It starts and drives, so it’s not completely dead, but I’m being real: it’s not in great shape. The engine and gearbox aren’t guaranteed to last, and I can’t promise it’ll start and run again after a few uses.
I’m based in Stowmarket, Suffolk, and I’ve kept it in good hands since it came through. It’s been checked and has an "HPi Clear" at one point, but I’d say you should double-check that yourself — insurance claims can show up later.
If you’re thinking of buying it, I’d really recommend you bring your own mechanic or a trusted engineer to take a look. I don’t give warranties on anything — it’s sold as seen.
If you want to see it in person, just give me a call. I’m Pete — 07823 771751 — or John, 07983 409520. We’re open 9am to 5pm, Monday to Saturday. The office number is 0115 7830715.
The price is £5,715 — not a surprise given it’s a salvage vehicle. I’ve kept it clean and ready to go, and I can help with parts if you’re planning a repair.
Delivery’s available across the UK, but there’s a small extra charge.
No refunds on deposits — that’s standard. If you don’t pick it up by the agreed date, we’ll charge storage and can re-sell it.
I don’t want anyone getting misled. This isn’t a "perfect car" — it’s a car with a history, and it’s only safe to drive once it’s fully repaired and passes a new MOT.
If you’re serious about checking it out, give me a shout. I’ll be happy to show you what’s actually under the skin.
And yeah — I’ve seen a lot of these, and I know how easy it is to get caught up in the hype. This one’s just what it is. No sugar coating.
Thanks for reading. Hope you can make it down.
