2020 Renault Zoe S-Edition Electric Auto – Damaged but Starts and Drives

Hey there – I’ve got a 2020 Renault Zoe S-Edition electric car here, 69 reg, with 18” alloy wheels, climate control, sat-nav, and a black interior. It’s a fully loaded model and runs – starts up and drives around, which is good for loading or getting it to a workshop.

It’s been in an accident at the rear end, so there’s some visible damage, but it’s repairable. It’s not a fully road-ready vehicle though – the engine and gearbox aren’t guaranteed to be in perfect shape, and it definitely won’t be safe to drive on public roads until it’s fully repaired and passed a proper MOT.

I’ve had it checked, and it does start and drive, but that’s just for loading purposes. If you’re thinking about buying it, I’d really recommend bringing your own mechanic or engineer to take a proper look at it. No warranty is given – it’s sold as seen, and all damage is as described.

The car has been through an insurance claim, so it’ll show up on HPi eventually – I’d suggest you check that yourself before committing. Also, don’t assume it’s safe just because it passed an MOT before – it could have been damaged after.

Price is £4,635 – that’s a fair bit for a damaged electric car with a solid build and features.

Just a quick note: any deposit I get is non-refundable, and if you don’t pick it up by the agreed date, I’ll hold it and might sell it to someone else.

I’m not selling this to get a quick profit – I’m just putting it out there because it’s something I’ve got lying around, and I know it’s not ideal for daily driving. But if you’re someone who’s into fixing cars, or just looking for a project, it might be worth a look.
