So, I’ve had this Vauxhall Mokka X for a few years now — it’s a solid, well-maintained 1.4T petrol with the automatic gearbox, and I’ve kept it pretty much as-is since I bought it. It’s got a nice bit of tech under the skin: full sat nav with a 900 IntelliLink system, aux-in socket, outside temp display, and all the usual driver aids like cruise control, speed limiter, and parking sensors. The interior’s got Jasmin leather upholstery, 6 speakers, heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, and a lot of handy storage — front door pockets, under-seat trays, even a centre armrest in the back.

It’s got a lot of features you’d expect in a modern hatchback — LED DRLs, fog lights, auto dimming mirrors, heated steering wheel, and even an electrochrome rear mirror. The seats are ergonomic and the 16-way front seats are actually quite comfortable. Rear seats fold 60/40 and there’s a rear armrest and cupholders too.

I’ve been driving it regularly, mostly for commuting and weekend trips, and it’s been reliable. The only real change is that I’ve moved my base to Hawkinge, Folkestone and Hythe District — so it’s now just a few short miles from the coast. I’m not selling it for a big sum, it’s just that I’ve found a different lifestyle and I don’t need it as much anymore.

It’s not exactly a luxury car, but it’s practical, clean, and full of features — everything you’d want in a daily driver.
