Got this one off a friend after they moved – it’s a solid 2019 Ecosport with the 1.0 EcoBoost engine, manual transmission, and that ST-Line styling kit. The car’s been well looked after, and I’m not going to lie, I’ve actually driven it quite a bit over the last few months.

Inside, it’s got the full Ford SYNC 3 with DAB radio, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, which means I can actually use my phone while driving without having to fumble with a dongle. There’s a USB port in the front and back, and it’s got a decent amount of storage – I’ve used it for playlists and work stuff. The seats are comfortable, and the second row has a 3-seat bench, which is good for long trips with kids or just when you’re sharing it with someone.

The tech side is pretty solid: cruise control, traffic sign recognition, automatic headlights, parking sensors, rear view camera, and even a trip computer. The cabin feels clean, with ambient lighting, heated mirrors, and a cooled glovebox. I’ve had to use the heated windscreen a couple of times in winter – that’s one of the few features I actually appreciate.

The exterior is sharp – black headlamp bezels, body-colour door handles, front and rear sport bumpers, and those black roof rails really give it that sporty look. The front grille bars and lower window surround are chrome, and there’s a large rear spoiler. All the lights are LED, including the third brake light and day running lights.

It’s parked in newtongrange, Murderdean Road, and I’ve been using it for daily commutes. Honestly, it’s been reliable, and I’ve only had one small issue – a minor wiper fault that I fixed myself.

I’ve been thinking about selling it because I’m moving into a new house and I just don’t need it anymore. It’s not flashy, but it’s a practical car with good value for what it does. The price is £11,061 – I know it’s not cheap, but it’s what I’ve been paying for it over the years, and I’m not looking to re-buy.
