Parkinson Vice Model F No 6 Vintage Steel Vice

I’ve had this Parkinson Vice Model F No 6 for a few years now — it’s a solid, old-school bench vice, made in England, and still works perfectly. I picked it up from a home in St-Andrews-Fife, South Street, and it’s been sitting in a smoke-free, quiet space, mostly untouched since I got it.

It’s not perfect — there’s a fair bit of surface scuffing and scrapes from years of use, and I noticed a patch of extra steel welding on the front jaw (probably from a repair at some point). It’s not flashy, but it’s solid, and it runs smooth now after a full service. I stripped the old paint off and gave it a coat of industrial grey primer — that seals the surface, so you can top it with whatever finish you like, or just leave it as-is. A few faint fingerprints here and there from reassembly, but nothing major.

It’s been fully serviced: all parts stripped, cleaned, greased up, and put back together. It’s fully functional — you can open and close it without any lag or resistance. I’ve used it a bit for small projects, and it holds up well.

I’m not a big fan of returns, so if you're planning to use it for something specific, I’d suggest checking your needs and compatibility before buying. The item’s heavy — definitely not something you can just ship — so it’s collection only from St-Andrews-Fife, South Street. I’m not the strongest person, but I can carry it if you come by.
