Athlete Series Cable Machine – High/Low Adjustable with 72kg Weight Stack
Description
I’ve had this cable machine for a few months now and honestly, it’s become a real workhorse in my home gym. It’s the Athlete Series model – brand new when I got it, still in the original box, and came straight from a Dromore collection (now based in Appin, Argyll and Bute). It’s got a solid 72kg weight stack, two cable attachment points, and 16 height settings so you can adjust it for everything from cable curls to face pulls, rows, and tricep extensions. The cable ratio is 1:1, which makes it feel really natural when you’re doing moves – no weird resistance or awkward angles.
The frame is steel, 50mm x 50mm box section, 2mm thick, and it’s powder coated black and red – looks solid and holds up well. It’s not huge, fits nicely in a corner, and I’ve used it every day. The height adjustments are easy with the quick-release pin, and the stirrups are included (two of them).
I bought it originally for under £300, and it’s been a game-changer for my workouts. It’s not flashy, but it does exactly what it says on the tin – gives you a lot of flexibility without taking up too much space.
It’s still in the original box, all parts are present, and I’ve only used it lightly so far. If you're looking for a reliable, no-nonsense cable machine for home use, this one’s worth a look.
Location: Appin, Argyll and Bute – just in case you’re wondering where it’s based.
