ABI Trieste 2017/18 Double Glazed Central Heated Static Caravan 35x12ft
Description
So I’ve got this ABI Trieste static caravan from 2017/18 — it’s 35ft by 12ft, double glazed and centrally heated, so it’s pretty comfortable even in the colder months. It’s a solid, modern feel with a classic ivory exterior and white UPVC windows, and the roof’s tiled — looks good and holds up well.Inside, it’s got three bedrooms: a master with a double bed and good storage, plus two twin rooms with single wardrobes and over-bed space. The kitchen is open plan, fully equipped with a sink, built-in fridge/freezer, gas hob, extractor, and loads of storage. The living area is spacious — long C-shaped sofa, fixed seating for dining, and room for a TV or a couple of people to hang out. There’s even an electric fire, which is nice for chilly evenings.
The bathroom has a double shower with a sliding door, a toilet, sink, and shelves — and there’s a separate toilet too, so you don’t have to wait. That’s a real plus if you’re with a family or have kids.
I’ve been using it off-site on my own land for a few years now, and it’s been pretty solid. It’s not flashy, but it’s practical and feels like a real home in a caravan.
It’s based in London-Colney, St Albans now — so if you're in that area or nearby, it’s easier to get to than Horsham. I’m not selling it just because it’s cheap, it’s just that it’s been in good use and I’ve decided to move on.
I’ve got a few more static caravans in stock, so if you’re interested, just search for "N Doe Caravans" online or call me on 01403 274877 — option 1 — to arrange a viewing. I’ll send you around, no pressure, just a chat and a look.
Important things to know:
- It’s a used unit over 10 years old, so it’s not brand new — some wear and tear is expected.
- Everything’s disconnected when we collect it, so you’ll need to have an engineer commission it before you use it.
- The caravan is a bit wide — about 2-4ft wider than standard HGVs — and it’s 14ft 6” high. So access needs to be at least 2ft wide, and you’ll want to check for trees, narrow lanes, or gateways before you commit.
- Delivery’s free up to 100 miles from our St Albans location — we’ll get it to the nearest road, but we don’t do final positioning or levelling for you. That’s an extra cost.
- You’ll need to provide your own concrete blocks and stands — about 16 blocks and 8 stands for a single, or 32 and 16 for a twin. We sell the stands at our yard, but blocks are usually £1.50 each from local builders.
- We can’t move it on soft ground outside dry seasons — only on firm, dry areas, or we can board small patches up to 40ft wide.
I’m not pushing it, just saying it’s a solid unit that’s been used and maintained. If you’re thinking of using one off-site, or building a self-contained home, this could be a real no-brainer. Just give me a call and we can go over it.
