So, I’ve had this 2021 Peugeot 2008 Allure Premium for just over a year now, and it’s been a real joy to drive. It’s been with one owner since new, which means it’s been well looked after and kept in great condition. The 1.2-litre petrol engine is smooth and responsive, and it’s Euro 6 compliant, so it’s clean-running and quiet on the road.

Inside, it’s got that Allure Premium trim – not flashy, but comfortable and practical. The Mirror Screen tech lets you connect your phone to Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and MirrorLink without any hassle. I use it all the time, especially when I’m on the go. Bluetooth for calls is also handy, and the automatic air conditioning with pollen and carbon filters makes the cabin feel fresh, even on dusty days.

The Eco LED headlights are sharp, and the Visibility Pack kicks in automatically when it gets dark – super useful. I’ve noticed it’s quite efficient too, getting around 48 miles per gallon, which means less fuel to worry about. It also has low CO2 emissions, so it’s not bad for the planet either.

It’s not a rocket ship, but it gets from 0 to 62 in about 9.1 seconds – enough to feel confident on the highway without being too aggressive. The ESP, airbags, and seat pretensioners are all there, so it feels safe and stable.

I bought it new and it’s been a solid daily driver. I’ve only used it for commuting and occasional weekend trips, so it’s still in great shape.
