2019 Ford EcoSport 1.0 EcoBoost 125 ST-Line 5-door hatchback
Description
So, I’ve been driving this 2019 Ford EcoSport for a few years now – it’s been a real joy, especially in the city. It’s a 1.0 EcoBoost 125bhp ST-Line, five-door hatchback, and honestly, it’s one of those cars that just feels like it’s meant to be driven properly – not just for commuting, but for weekend trips too. It’s got 25,688 miles on it, which is nothing to write home about – I’ve only ever driven it moderately, and it’s been well looked after. The engine is solid, pulls well, and gets around 45–50 mpg, which is great for a compact SUV in a busy area like Mountsorrel.
Outwardly, it’s got that ST-Line flair – body-coloured bumpers, black roof rails, and 17-inch alloy wheels. Inside, the red stitching, sports seats, and flat-bottomed steering wheel give it a bit of a driver’s feel. The SYNC 3 system works well – touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and even FordPass Connect for things like locking doors or checking battery status remotely.
Safety’s been good too – hill start assist, electronic stability control, multiple airbags, lane keeping, pre-crash prevention, and all that. The ride height is a bit higher than normal, so it’s easy to park in tight spots.
I’ve had it through full service history – everything’s been checked and maintained properly. It’s not flashy, but it’s got a real character and handles well. The air con works, the parking sensors are spot-on, and the rear view camera is a lifesaver when backing up.
I’m not selling it just because I need to – I’ve been using it for years and it’s genuinely been reliable. If you're looking for a compact, fun-to-drive SUV that doesn’t feel like a box, this might be worth a look.
I’m based in Mountsorrel, Charnwood, and I’m happy to chat about it – drop by and we can go over it properly over a cup of coffee or tea. No pressure, just a real talk about what it’s like to drive and how it fits into your daily life.
It’s not a luxury car, but it’s a solid, practical, and slightly sporty little machine – perfect for someone who wants a bit of character without the big price tag.
(Price is £9,800.10 – that’s just how it is, but I’d be happy to go over it if you’re interested.)
